I thought I would start another entry since the other one was looking enormous :) I wanted to share my good news because I am so happy that I must! First off, I got another 92 on my test in civilizations, which is fantastic. Second, I got an A- on my presentation in literature. That has to be one of the most exciting things ever. That was the most traumatic thing... oh my! It was supposed to b 20-30 minutes. I talked SOOOO fast and I think mine ended up being 15! (ooops) ... But we discussed it for a really long time and I think he liked some of the discussion, and I think my transparencies got me some points for creativity. I am pumped because this is 30% of my grade! YAY!

Ok I will end the Ļgo meĻ dance...

Not too much has been up here besides school-y stuff. This was my bad week, and thank goodness I have survived. The roughness of school seemed to correspond with the SAUNA which was lingering within Madrid. We have been blessed with some cooler weather today... I can only hope it will last longer! And, hey, next week we will have access to a beach. What more could one want?

Monday we went on a tour of Palacio Real, which is the palace which is located a little southwest of the center of the city, near the Opera. Iīd been there before, but I hadnīt been on a tour yet. It was very exciting because it was the first visit to a location with class that we did not have to take notes on, because the test we had on Tuesday was only on art and after that - NO MORE TESTS! I am a little happy... The palace was very beautiful though. We had a tour guide provided by the Palace. I had a hard time paying attention though since I had had class all afternoon and Ricky and I had to watch the movie for my book, and the movie finished 10 minutes before we had to be at the Palace.

We were all so tired and thirsty afterwards that some of us went in search of fountain drinks. It was me, Amy, and Rachel. We found a Burger King and I bought the super-grande Coke and it was wonderful. I finished it in 5 minutes, but it was so worth the money. I guess you had to be there to understand how tired and icky we felt, but it was definitely an important part of our day!

Well, I think I have pretty much brought everything up to today! Tonight we have our farewell dinner since tomorrow is our last day of classes at the Instituto Internacional (Intīl Institute). More later!
