2001-06-12 - 11:19 a.m. Happy news! We **FINALLY** found a place in Barcelona! We are going next weekend. We called the hotel that other people in our group stayed at last weekend and they said it is really nice and apparently right around the corner from the main street and even the Hard Rock Cafe! It is only going to cost each of us about $50 for both nights. We decided not to go for a hostel becasue this way our stuff is more secure. Also, I went to the US Embassy today to register my passport and there were police everywhere. I think today is the day when Bush is coming to Madrid, so it was crazy. I was just excited they let me in! Anyway, I am off to class and just wanted to share the good news! ¡Hasta luego!
